The first thing I noticed with each of your photos was the contrast. Due to the snow the darker lines and shapes in your photos became easier to notice. In the first photo my eyes were immediately drawn to the pole on the left. I also found myself interested in the middle ground seeing how the car juts out from the corner of the screen. I found the background to be a little distracting due to it taking up so much of the photo, but I did like how the tree line made it seem like the snow almost blended into the sky. I also found the road to create an interesting line in your photo since it is going in a different direction than the cars and houses. This made your photo feel more asymmetrical. I think the if the photo was slightly lighter the snow and colors in the background stood out a little more.
In the second photo I found myself very drawn to the shed in the middle ground. The yellow lines and tan shapes contrast the white snow, sky, and houses in the foreground and background. I think the foreground would have looked a bit better in this photo if the black pole did not blend in with the black lines on the shed. I thought the lighting in this photo was better and the colors seemed to pop without the white snow being overwhelming.

Overall I really enjoyed viewing both photos!
